Since mid-2017, I have been committed to accelerating the pace of equality in the City of London’s Financial Services (FS) industry; this led to the launch of two unique networks in January 2018: Elevate City (a women’s leadership network, in FS) and One City (an equality leadership network, in FS) focussing on all 9 protected characteristics, (of the Equality Act 2010).
In my earlier career, I served as a Director for a leading Operational Risk Management software and Consulting firm, based in New York. I have spent most of my professional life setting up and managing specialist Risk and Compliance executive search firms, servicing some of the world’s largest financial and professional services firms in Europe, North America and the Middle East.
The mainstay and joy of my professional life has been developing leadership relationships, built on trust.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resource Management and have been an active member and participant in the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and the Professional Risk Managers International Association (PRMIA), for close to two decades.
Elevate City has been built on a firm foundation of support and belief from the individuals in our network and our long-serving Advisory Board.
I am the Managing Director of GIAN Consulting Ltd and hold 20 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry.
